{The media promote what is socially acceptable because that is what gets them the ratings and they do so until such a movement has run its course for fear of losing market share. Only when there is a backlash do they move on to the next new thing or, at least, start putting out feelers for it.

Politicians attach themselves to a movement to further their careers. It matters little to them whether the current paradigm will be sustainable, as long as they get their leg up in the political world.}

Seems good to me. Although it's sad to think that such a loop continues on through the generations.

I'm sure glad Eric decided to comment on this one. I saw it last night, and thought of trying to deconstruct, but just didn't have it in me (sick kid for the last 4 nights has me operating on limited sleep).

Poor kid and poor Mom! I hope both recover their health and rested ways in short order.
