During the winter time, I tend to go through spells of weather-induced dejection; not so during inclement springs or summers. I suppose, the colours and the more pleasant temperatures make the difference, mainly the colours and the lushness of vegetation. Mind you, I am not at all happy with the bad weather.
However, I hope to emulate Lucky, who is making the best of it:
Rain, rain and, yes, more rain. Welcome to Germany!
For weeks, rain has been falling on Germany, whose serotonin-sapped residents are straining to hold on to the last vestiges of hope after already having suffered through the darkest winter in over four decades. But, save for a few soon-forgotten days of sunshine, most of Germany's vitamin-D-deprived residents have had to live through endless days of gray drizzle and downpour this spring. Though summer is officially just around the corner, refrains of "Can you believe this (insert expletive) weather?" have given way to silent, knowing looks and forlorn sighs.
