Ron Paul and Mr. Rogers

In this post from Andrew Sullivan, one of Sullivan's readers describes Paul's recent visit to his childhood home of Pittsburgh--and says that Paul's style is somewhat reminiscent of another famous Pittsburgh native, Mr. (Fred) Rogers.

I'd never thought about that, but I can see that in the 71 year old Paul (perhaps not so much in the Paul of 1988 that I've seen, who seemed a bit more feisty).  He's gentle, unassuming, and with a twinkle in his eye, you can tell he's probably got a great sense of humor.  Anyway, read Sullivan's piece--it's a great one.
