Catholics Ready for Anti-Rudy Battle
Turns out that the GOP candidates might not have to spend too much time attacking Rudy (see earlier post)--other groups, including groups of Catholics, appear to be readying themselves for an assault on the former New York mayor. This makes sense, as Andrew Sullivan points out, given the way that some Catholics attacked John Kerry in 2004. Indeed, as Sullivan suggests, compared to Rudy, John Kerry looks to have been a pretty conservative Catholic. At least these members of the Church are being consistent in their views, and not being completely partisan (at least at this point).
